Today we did a chicken wing dissection. The first part of the chicken dissection, was to cut off the skin. Then we got to the muscle, such as triceps and biceps. The amazing thing was that even though the wing was so similar, it was also so different. It contracts, and extends like our hands, but our body's are much more complex. We got deep into the wing, and cracked the bone, after looking at the cartilage. We then had seen the bone marrow, the place where blood vessels are created.
